Job Summary
The Web Developer cum SEO Manager will be responsible for developing, managing, and optimizing the organization’s website while implementing effective SEO strategies to increase visibility, donor engagement, and outreach.
Key Responsibilities
- Web Development
- Design, develop, and maintain the NGO’s website ensuring responsiveness and user-friendly experience
- Regularly update website content including campaigns, blogs, donation pages, and reports
- Ensure website security, speed optimization, and performance monitoring
- Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure smooth website functionality
- Integrate third-party tools (payment gateways, CRM systems, donation platforms)
SEO & Digital Marketing
- Plan and execute on-page and off-page SEO strategies
- Conduct keyword research focused on NGO campaigns and social causes
- Optimize website content, meta tags, images, and URLs
- Monitor website traffic using tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console
- Improve search engine rankings and organic reach
- Manage backlinks and content outreach strategies
Content & Campaign Support
- Collaborate with the content team to optimize blogs, fundraising pages, and awareness campaigns
- Support digital campaigns for fundraising, volunteering, and awareness
- Ensure all web content aligns with the NGO’s mission and branding
Performance & Reporting
- Track SEO performance and website KPIs
- Generate monthly reports on traffic, engagement, and conversions
- Suggest improvements based on data insights
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Marketing, or related field
- Experience in website development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, WordPress, etc.)
- Strong understanding of SEO best practices
- Familiarity with SEO tools and analytics platforms
- Basic knowledge of UI/UX principles
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of digital fundraising tools and campaign optimization
- Understanding of social media integration and marketing
